The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) – instituţie filantropică din Regatul Unit ce organizează show-uri anuale în care se oferă premii pentru producţiile remarcabile din domeniul filmelor, televiziunii, jocurilor video şi formelor de animaţie – a anunţat nominalizările pentru ediţia 2011 a Premiilor Academiei Britanice de Jocuri Video.

Ceremonia de anul ăsta va avea loc pe 16 martie la hotelul London Hilton şi va fi găzduită de comediantul irlandez Dara O’Briain. De asemenea, această ceremonie include o categorie nouă: Social Network Game.

Se pare că titlul Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood al Ubisoft (cu 6.5 milioane de copii vândute săptămâna asta) este nominaliat de 7 ori, fiind urmat de Call of Duty şi Heavy Rain, fiecare cu câte 6 nominalizări.
